Thailand national costume for Miss Universe 2011 "Hemaraj Naree"



Hemaraj is a mixed lion between a Hem and a Lion. The woird "Hemaraj" is a combined word from "Hem" and "Raja". It's ahard to describe what a "Hem" is. Some say Hem is much like a Hong (Swan) But in some depiction the head of a Hem looks more like Cocodile's.

Fah Chanyasorn Sakornchan was crowned Miss Thailand Universe 2011 at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok on March 26, 2011. Fah Chanyasorn of Chonburi is 20 year old and stands 1.75m. She will represent Thailand in Miss Universe 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil next September.

Meet 44 Miss Thailand Universe 2011 Contestants

Miss Thailand Universe 2011, the 12th edition of Miss Thailand Universe beauty pageant will be held at the Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand on March 26, 2011. Miss Thailand Universe 2010, Fontip Watcharatrakul (นางสาวฝนทิพย์ วัชรตระกูล) (photo above) will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The new beauty queen will represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. And the 1st run-up will compete at Miss Earth 2011 beauty contest.

Sarun Siriluk and Pongsak Rattanapong will be the celebrity guests to be broadcast live by BBTV Channel 7.
