Rebecca Maguire, Miss Wright Venue and the first runner-up in the national pageant, is the new Miss Ireland 2012 after the tittle winner Marie Hughes was asked to step down for violation of age requirement for Miss World Pageant. She is 20 years old and will represent Ireland in Miss World 2012 Pageant to be held in China this August.
