April 24, 2010. Miss Peru International competition has selected Peru's candidate to Miss Earth and Miss International. Silvana Vasquez from Ayacucho was crowned Miss Earth Peru and will be the candidate to Vietnam for the 10th Miss Earth pageant. Laura Spoya from Lima was chosen as Miss International Peru and will be sent to compete in China.

Miss Peru International Organization which send their winner to Miss International pageant is now the new franchise holder for Miss Earth. This year 23 contestants will vie for the titles of Miss Peru Earth and Miss Peru International 2010. The finals is on April 24th.
