One of Miss Indonesia World 2010 Contestants

Miss World 2009 Kaiane Aldorino and Miss World Co-chairs Julia Morley will attend the Miss Indonesia World 2010 Finale as special guests.

The Finale of the 6th Annual Miss Indonesia, or Miss Indonesia World 2010 Pageant, will be held in Central Park Ballroom, Jakarta, Indonesia on June 1, 2010 at 9pm (INDONESIAN TIME). Kerenina Sunny Halim, Miss Indonesia 2009 from Jakarta Special Capital Region will crown her successor at the end of this event. 33 contestants from 33 provinces will be vying for the crown. The Finale will be broadcast live on RCTI and MNC. Miss Indonesia 2010 will represent Indonesia in Miss World 2010.

Girls Generation (SNSD) Best Girls Group IN Korea
Girls’ Generation is one of South Korea’s top female pop groups. The nine-members girls group are often referred to as SNSD, the acronym for their Korean name So Nyeo Shi Dae (소녀시대, or So Nyuh Shi Dae).The nine members of SNSD are Yuri, Yoona, Tiffany, Taeyeon (leader), Sunny, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Jessica, and Hyoyeon.

SNSD made their official debut in August 2007 with single Into the New World. A reality show Girls Go To School were filmed in conjunction with their debut. Most of the members have been involved in some projects prior to the group debut though, e.g. in magazines, TV commercials and music videos etc.

SNSD kicked off 2010 with their second full length album Oh! in January. It did well and became the girls’ 4th consecutive albums to achieve 100,000 in sales. A repackaged album RunDevilRun was released in March.

Miss Netherlands 2010 Finale will be held on July 4th in Theatre De Efteling

Miss Netherlands 2010 Finale will be held on July 4th in Theatre De Efteling. The winners will represent Netherlands in Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth.

The organizers of Miss Netherlands had their hands full this weekend. Hundreds of applications were reviewed in De Efteling.

Kim Kötter, former Miss Netherlands (R) and Dagmar are still busy with the last pile. Kim: “The quality of applicants this year are never been higher. Beautiful girls, great resumes and nice pictures! Hopefully they all look just as beautiful in person.”

The girls that will be invited to the casting will be disclosed on their official website. They will be judged base on their portfolios, interviews, psychological testing and catwalk by a group of professionals. Only 12 will be selected as official contestants.

The finals is set on July 4th in Theatre De Efteling. The winner will compete in Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth.
